Companies
Companies are realizing more and more that retirement and social protection play an integral part in the proper management of human resources. Explaining, verifying, investing in attractive new schemes, these are the new challenges they face.
The involvement of the Philippe Sauvant Consultants office is notable for:
The organization of conferences about a variety of subjects linked to retirement:
- Presentation of the French retirement regimes and their application in an international setting,
- Issues relating to the successive amendments to retirement plans,
- Combined work and retirement...
Auditing welfare schemes set up by companies:
- Reading and comments on benefits,
- Update of social and tax obligations and the risks incurred if formal aspects are not respected,
- Analysis and optimization of benefits for the same budget,
- Verification of the terms and conditions under which benefits are applied,
- Advice and recommendations for the optimization of schemes.
Provision of added value:
- Feasibility study of complementary retirement regimes (the so-called "CGI article 39 and 83" regimes),
- Audit and feasibility study of Employee Savings Plans (Participation, Incentives, PEE and PERCO saving schemes,...),
- Tax and corporate consequences with regard to these schemes.
Expatriates
Provision of specific information intended for expatriate employees in accordance with the obligations ratified under the Appeals Court ruling (Company Appeal Judgement dated January 25th, 2012, case n° 11-11374: employers are obliged to inform their expatriate employees about their status with regard to social protection throughout their foreign posting).
In addition, article L161-17 of the French Social Security Code also resolves that this right to information about old-age pensions extends to the spouse of the expatriate employee.
